OK, Dan was being modest. The "logs" were a variety of trunks given character by their varied bark and interesting angle. The painting had much more depth than a simple splat. But, we did set our production entirely outdoors, among 5 of these beautiful trees. Lighting was used to help differentiate place as the action moved among Lear's property, Gloucester's property, woods, heath and battle field.
